Attend the 2014 HBCUStory Symposium in DC on Oct 24th

HBCUstory Symposium Salutes Tennessee State University
Save the date: The HBCUstory Symposium will be held on October 24 + 25 in Washington, D.C., in partnership with the Association of Public Land-grant Universities.

Coming this fall, students, faculty and alumni will have a chance to hear from some of the finest minds in the HBCU community. The APLU (Association of Public & Land-grant Universities) will be hosting the second annual HBCUStory Symposium in Washington, D.C.

About HBCUStory

HBCUStory is an advocacy initiative dedicated to “preserving, presenting and promoting” the innumerable stories and memories which HBCU students and alumni have collected throughout the years.

HBCUStory believes that these stories are not ‘just’ stories, but that they serve a very important role in the expansion, furthering and betterment of the HBCU community as a whole. When shared, these stories inspire potential students to seek a quality education. They motivate alumni to take a more active role in HBCU activities. They showcase the excellence of HBCU education to the world, and so much more.

The D.C. Symposium 2014 is the very first of its kind for the HBCU community, with a chance to hear inspiring keynote speakers, share your own stories and take part in many varied ways.
