The HBCU Information Network (HBCUIn) unveils two new Android applications to assist prospective students in both learning about different Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) and also to help curve driving under the influence.  Anyone interested in downloading the applications can visit http://www.hbcuin.org/apps.

Prospective students researching information on what college to attend has become more convenient with the assistance of the HBCUIn flagship application.

Located in the education section of the Web site, HBCUIn is an application that focuses on providing admission, enrollment, and tuition information for HBCU’s nationwide.

HBCUIn Man Down AppThis application will help keep you safe. Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is a serious offense that SHOULD NOT be taken lightly.

This free application can be used to help friends text and/or call other friends and acquaintances when they have had to much to drink.

Every year almost 40,000 people are killed by Drunk Drivers (Source: www.alcoholalert.com)

Underage college students drank alcohol less frequently but were more likely to drink in excess when they drank (Source: Harvard School of Public Health College).
