HBCU Homecoming Events
The HBCU Homecoming events go beyond the football game and halftime show. For the uninitiated, you can expect some of the livest activities for students and alumni from step shows to talent shows, pep rallies to parades, concerts to comedy shows. Traditional events include the Homecoming coronation and Fall convocation. There is something for everyone.
Alumni Specific Activities
Every year many of the college departments host an open house, a social, town hall meeting or even a cookout. Whether it is the school of nursing, school of business or the engineering school. Most programs host an activity for their former students. These opportunities provide an outlet for alumni to get involved with the direction of the program and give back to their alma mater through either their time, talent, or money.

Food Vendors and College Gear
The HBCU Homecoming events are great, but the experience wouldn't be complete without the approved vendors that set up shop on the campus and the football field. Visitors love the carnival-style food the fills the air with delicious flavors that make your mouth water. In addition to the food, there are street vendors who offer everything from t-shirts and tote bags to artwork and handcrafted artifacts. So support the providers and get a little something for yourself to represent your HBCU or give a souvenir to family or friends.
