The Coca Cola Scholarship is one of the most prestigious achievement based corporate sponsored program in the nation. Started in 1986 as a joint effort of The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola bottlers to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their flagship brand, the scholarship program celebrates young individuals who are committed to making a significant impact on the world. Since its inception, the foundation has provided more than 5,400 Coco-Cola Scholars with over $54 million in education support. 150 students are selected each year to receive a scholarship worth $20,000.
