ColorComm NextGen Fellows Program Partners with 14 HBCUs

ColorComm founder Lauren Wesley Wilson

ColorComm, Inc., the nation’s leading women’s platform addressing diversity & inclusion across the communications, marketing, advertising, and media industries, will host the 5th Annual NextGen Fellows Program on February 25, 2022, with a summit & recruiting component to allow Fortune 500 companies, agencies, brands, and corporations to recruit students for internships and full-time positions.

ColorComm’s 5th Annual NextGen Fellows Program will focus directly on current students and recent graduates of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). The year-long program will provide mentorship, professional development seminars, access to the full ColorComm Network, and a direct pipeline for leading media companies and brands to hire the next generation of leaders. The HBCU Fellows Program is an exclusive program where applicants will be evaluated on academic achievement, community giveback, extracurricular activities, and their professional goals.

The virtual program and recruitment summit will bring together the best and brightest HBCU students from across the nation and will reach ColorComm’s Community of more than 100,000 multicultural professionals.

There is no cost associated to apply to the fellowship.

“As a proud graduate of Spelman College, I can recall the challenges entering the communications industry as a student looking for a full-time position in the industry. HBCU Students often face greater challenges to land top media and communications positions as the same companies frequent the same schools and often overlook the wide variety of HBCUs…The 5th Annual ColorComm NextGen Fellows Program will give greater access to companies to engage with the best talent and will provide students with the access, resources, and knowledge to succeed after graduation,”

Lauren Wesley Wilson, Founder and CEO, ColorComm, Inc.
