Admission to Philander Smith College (application fee $25, official transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, immunization records required). Presidential Scholarship: full tuition, fees, room, board, and books; GPA 3.8+, ACT 28/SAT 1300+; interview required; not open to international students. Thomas Mason Scholarship: full tuition and fees; GPA 3.5+, ACT 25/SAT 1230+; open to domestic and international students. George Taylor Scholarship: $3,000 per semester; GPA 3.0+, ACT 20/SAT 1130+. S.T.A.R.T. Summer Bridge Program: $10,000 over 4 years; must attend Summer Bridge Institute. Transfer Scholarship: $5,000 per year (up to 2 years); GPA 3.0+, 60 credit hours from previous institution.
