The HBCU Awards is presented by the Center, and serves as the organization’s primary fundraiser. It is the first awards ceremony of its kind celebrating student, alumni and institutional achievement among HBCUs.
I don’t know about the other categories, but it’s a no-brainer that the HU proton therapy institute receive the research initiative of the year award. After all, they’re treating people with cancer and saving human lives.
