Each year, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) encourages students to join its Internship Programs which provide opportunities for students to gain practical experiences in work environments. These government internships are designed to expose the students in an environment where they will encounter real life situations and learn to deal with everyday challenges in the workplace.
Goals of TMCF Government Internships
The TMCP Government Internship Program aims to:
- motivate students to apply their academic knowledge to practical situations
- provide students the opportunity for a hands-on learning experience
- allow the students to acquire skills that they may not learn in a traditional classroom setting
- expose the students to opportunities that could give them a head start on their careers
