Penny Dickerson is a writer whose primary forms of expression are both Journalism and Creative Writing genres. She earned a B.A. degree in Journalism from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Lesley University (Cambridge, MA). She currently works as independent contractor contributing to the Florida Times -Union, Florida Courier, and regional/national publications.

William earned a Bachelors Degree at South Carolina State University, and Masters in Teaching at Webster University. He is currently employed with Duval County Public School System where he teaches physical education and technology. William was previously an instructor at Edward Waters College, Florida Community College Jacksonville and the NASA Space Program. William is a proud father of two teenagers (Sean 18 and Shae 14). In addition to being an educator, William is a blogger for several sites including: Black Fathers, Nokturnal Escape, E3 Business Group Northeast Florida and Jacksonville.com.

Alana is a freelance writer and poet who is currently working on her first novel. She has a B.A. in Education from the University of North Florida and is working on an M.A. in English at National University. She is an adult education/GED instructor for a nonprofit organization. Alana has previously worked as an infant-toddler developmental specialist. She has two sons, Alan and Alex.
