BET Networks announces the return of the popular and newly renamed BET College Tour, making 14-stops at historically black colleges and universities across the nation. BET College Tour, the largest and only tour of its kind, will bring campuses a fun-filled day of entertainment, games, concerts, product samples and consumer information.
The free event, kicking off Friday, September 7 at Virginia State, is open only to current students enrolled at each campus stop. In addition to returning partners Interscope Records and US Air Force, this year marks the arrival of first-time sponsor Citi Trends.
What you can expect at the event
For the third year in a row, WPGC 95.5 FM’s DJ Herkules returns as host of the BET College Tour. This year’s tour will include the following:
- Freestyle battle
- Music performances
- 2-on-2 Basketball competitions
- Voter registration
- Health information
- Free HIV/AIDS testing to students
