When choosing a degree, it’s nearly always in a student’s best interest to strive for the highest level of education possible. In many fields, a doctoral degree is considered standard. In others, it is not yet standard but is always considered as an asset when hiring. In addition, many industries have begun to require or prefer doctoral degrees where, once, only a Bachelor’s degree was needed.

In virtually every situation, if a doctoral degree is not required, it’s certainly a huge asset to a student both as they begin their career and throughout their lives. The following is a list of HBCU schools currently offering doctoral programs, as well as a quick review of which programs are offered at each school.

Hello, how are you? This is a wonderful list, however, the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, GA is missing from your list. ITC is a graduate institution.
